This is as Author's way to replace a traditional way of solving crosswords. But why this replacement might be needed or wished for?

  • First of all, printed crosswords need paper, and paper could be put to much better use.
  • Second, solving crosswords in a traditional way impose some unnecessary effort scrolling for definition of an Accross and/or Down entry description, and this can distract and spoil pleasure of solving crosswords.
  • And third, you often want some help and/or check on correctness of your solution and you must wait for a week (next edition) or look on a separate page (wasting your precious time).

Crossword solving tool offers a great relief in these matter. This is a small program that is not intended to be executed as a classical program but only to open a crossword definition file.

And, the most important at all, it is completely free to use, and ready made crosswords are available for free download too.
