RutherSoft (Rayburn Davis) has produced a new program called LineTally 1.0. It is a free program that allows programmers to count the number of lines in their source files. It counts lines in both individual files and as a whole project. LineTally supports 30+ programming languages, but also allows you to add user defined languages. It can tell programmers the number code lines, comment lines, mixed lines (code and comments on the same line), blank lines, and total lines. Programmers can save the report as CSV, HTM, or TXT files. It's totally free for educational, personal, and commercial uses. It's meant to be an alternative to Code Counter Pro and Practiline Source Code Counter.
